Punctual Aftermath features three dimensional anaglyph prints and performance exploring structural amnesia. Feehan merges out of print and out of date material with the contemporary vernacular, creating an atmosphere that references symbols and research of forgetting through time. Deriving from subjects as diverse as Geoffrey Sonnabends┬ámodel of obsolescence, remodeled information obesity info graphs, and Paul Connerton’s preliminary taxonomy of forgetting. Punctual Aftermath explores forgetting as the defeatist mechanism that is the structurally mandated element in all aspects of history, time and daily life.
